Laelia angereri can produce the largest and tallest plants in the group but in cultivation they never get that tall. they do hwever produce lots of flowers and I've seen plants with more than 40 on an inflorescence. The 1 1/2" to 2" flowers are bright orange to orange-red and usually very flat, producing a very showy display.
