Laelia bradei is one of the small rupicolous laelias species that grow around Diamantina, in the state of Minas Gerais. The 1" flowers are light yellow usually with a darker yellow lip up to a brighter concolor yellow, and are produced in short inflorescences. Plants are near flowering size to flowering size.
