One of the only three species of "rupicolous laelias" that are not actually rupicolous. Instead, plants live on trees inside the slope tropical forest so the plants have long thin pseudobulbs topped with an elongated  leaf. Flower spikes are short and can produce up to dozens of 2" bright orange flowers as in this photo. Plants can actually start blooming in 2' pots, and require less light and more humidity than the truely rupicolous species.
