Laelia kettieana is one of the smallest rupicolous laelias. The flowers are about 1" across and bright magenta-urple, usually with a darker purple-red lip margin and a yellow disc. flowers areproduced up to 5 (or even more) on short inflorescences. This is one of the more cold tolerant species, considering that in the habitat temps can get down to below freezing on some Winter nights.
