Laelia munchowiana is a small species from south Minas Gerais state, and grows at altitudes usually above 3,000'. It is not really a cool grower though, It was described not so long ago, and the small light purple flowers (around 1") are produced somewhat loosely on fairly tall inflorescences. Plants here are near flowering size, and we flower them in 2" pots.
