Although producing orange flowers, Laelia sanguiloba is actually closer to Laelia crispata (flava) than to species in the L. cinnabarina group. Plants are very similar to those of it with the backwards-curved leaves, and flowers are also similarly-shaped and sized. Different color, of course, and slightly narrower segments.
